Real estate agents Reiko Kujirai and Hajime Kudo work together in the nostalgic Kowloon Walled City, and Reiko gradually develops feelings for him. Her growing attachment is disrupted when she discovers a photograph of Hajime with his former fiancée, whose face is identical to hers. Reiko is then forced to confront the disturbing fact that she cannot remember her own past.
