Rudd is an E-rank adventurer whose ability to nullify status ailments makes him useful mainly for gathering medicinal herbs in miasma-filled dungeons. Mocked as the “Miasma Scavenger” for his lack of combat skill, he is betrayed and abandoned by his party in a new dungeon. With his supplies gone and death approaching, Rudd consumes monster flesh, beginning an adventure in which devouring his foes grants him new skills.
