Koichi Haimawari is a timid college student whose life changes after a significant incident. Soon afterward, the revered vigilante Knuckleduster offers him the chance to become a protégé. Koichi accepts and begins training under Knuckleduster, taking on a new role while remaining a college student. His immediate situation centers on this apprenticeship, as he works with the vigilante who has chosen to train him.
