After transferring to Okinawa, Teruaki Nakamura falls for the lively Kyan-san, but her dialect remains impossible for him to understand. Higa-san helps translate as Teruaki adjusts to island life and repeatedly finds himself in misunderstandings. His feelings for Kyan-san grow more complicated when signs suggest Higa-san may also want his affection, leaving the three in an uncertain romantic situation.
