At the Jiangcheng Procuratorate, prosecutor An Ni investigates the disappearance of college student Li Xiaowen after the student jumps into a lake. Her inquiry leads to Zhao Jikai, general manager of Huiquan Games, and connections with overseas groups promoting bullying, bringing those responsible into custody. As the company’s stock falls, Yin Huiquan gives money to Jiangxiao Academy under the guise of charity, while Li Xiaowen and other victims denounce its methods of controlling young people. An Ni’s courtroom evidence closes the academy and punishes those involved. Later, Yan Qin diverts company funds into a copper mine investment that proves to be a financial fraud scheme.
