At 30, Vedant is a successful man who was adopted as an orphan by Murari Tripathi, yet Murari’s family has never accepted him. After Vedant loses his grandfather, Murari, lying on his deathbed, asks him to keep the family together. Vedant now supports the household as its sole breadwinner while continuing to face rejection from its members. His promise places him between his duty to the family and the family’s refusal to fully embrace him.
