When life becomes difficult, 42-year-old Inés tries to drown herself, but teenage Hugo saves her. His fixation on the woman he rescued develops into a forbidden romance. The relationship brings consequences for both of them and the people around them, as an encounter between a woman in crisis and the teenager who saved her grows into an attachment whose effects extend beyond the two of them.
