In 2380, the support crew of the U.S.S. Cerritos serves aboard one of Starfleet’s least important ships. Ensigns Mariner, Boimler, Rutherford, and Tendi try to keep up with their duties while maintaining their social lives. Their routine is repeatedly disrupted as the ship is rocked by a multitude of science-fiction anomalies, forcing the four ensigns to balance responsibilities with unusual events.
