Erkan Aldur, raised in a wealthy Istanbul family, is stationed in an isolated, earthquake-affected village in eastern Turkey for his required military duty. There he meets Dicle, a young woman rooted in village life and its traditions. Their meeting brings contrasting backgrounds together as Dicle enters unfamiliar circumstances and Erkan takes on new responsibilities.
