After unidentified beasts attack the world and destroy many species, including humans, the survivors leave the ground for the floating island Regal Ele. Five hundred years later, Willem Kmetsch wakes above the clouds as the only survivor, unable to protect those he wanted to save. Around him are little girls known as fairy weapons and the remnants of a devastated world.
