Naitik and Akshara Singhania begin married life within a Marwari joint family in Udaipur. Their story follows the adjustments required of them as a young couple, then traces their lives as they become parents of young children. Along the way, they learn to love one another and the members of their respective extended families. As responsibilities change, Naitik and Akshara must grow into mature participants in the household they share.
