Comedians

Six aspiring comedians reach the end of a stand-up course and prepare for their first club performance. An examiner in the audience will choose one of them for a television show, making the night a chance to change their lives, and perhaps the last opportunity for some. Each must decide whether to follow their teacher’s intelligent, uncompromising approach, cater to the examiner’s less refined taste, or attempt something wholly original.
