Kate Conklin, a 35-year-old writer whose debut novel has launched poorly, accepts an invitation to speak at her alma mater from a former professor who was once her crush. With her book tour canceled, she hopes the visit will restore her morale. Instead, encounters with eccentric twenty-year-olds pull her into comic misadventures, while jealousy grows over the professor’s new favorite student.
