When Bhagwan Shri Jagannath and his brother, Bhagwan Shri Balabhadra, refuse offerings from Shriya, a woman of lower caste, Devi Maa Lakshmi responds with a curse. The two gods become hungry and homeless, traveling from village to village and house to house in search of food. Meanwhile, Lakshmi joins forces with Vayu Dev, Agni Dev, and Pawan Dev to teach both of them a lesson.
