Set in the early 1970s, the story follows aspiring actor Om Prakash Makhija and famous starlet Shantipriya, whose lives end in murder. Thirty years later, Om Kapoor, described as Om Prakash’s reincarnation, becomes determined to uncover the mystery surrounding their deaths. His search connects the later character to the two earlier figures and places the circumstances of their demise at the center of the story.
