Jagadish, a poor man who survives by any means available, pretends to be a cricket fan during a job interview after learning the manager shares that interest. When the manager’s cricket-hating father conducts the interview, Jagadish loses the job. Later, he demands weekly payment from a woman who pretends to be his wife to secure work, creating an ongoing dispute between them.
