In a village, a girl is in love with her distant cousin and asks him to marry her. He rejects the proposal because he loves another woman. Their situation changes when an accident kills the woman he loves, leaving him to reconsider his decision about the village girl. The story follows the two cousins as the consequences of his earlier choice reshape the possibility of their marriage.
