During a vacation at her family’s home in Hawaii, college student Lucy spends time with her friends and Ben, her pet chimpanzee. Their stay changes when Ben is bitten by a rabid animal and contracts rabies. As the chimp becomes violent, Lucy and the group face the immediate pressure of staying alive while avoiding him. The house, once a vacation setting, becomes the place where they must contend with Ben’s transformation and the danger it presents.
