Rise & Fall: The World Trade Center

The rise and collapse of the World Trade Center are examined through architecture, engineering, firsthand testimony, expert interviews, and newly created graphics. The film follows the people who designed and built the Twin Towers, explains the structural innovations that made them the world’s tallest buildings, and considers whether those same innovations contributed to their collapse on September 11, viewed with two decades of engineering hindsight.
