After a pregnant woman bleeds out in the bathtub, her terrified partner is left caring for the empty skin that remains and pouring the blood into an aquarium. As he continues his enclosed everyday life, something appears to grow inside the blood-filled glass box, leaving the couple confronting an expectation they do not understand.
