In an alternate past, an unlikely duo joins forces in Kyoto to find a missing catalog. The city’s streets are filled with smoke, and the absent document could provide a way to bring electricity to them. The pair’s search is driven by what the catalog may contain and what its recovery could make possible for Kyoto. They continue looking for the record while the smoke-filled streets await the electrical power it might bring.
