In a Canadian mountain resort, Vixen Palmer lives with her naive pilot husband, Tom. While Tom flies tourists, Vixen sleeps with nearly everyone around her, including a husband and wife and her biker brother. She refuses only her brother’s Black friend, creating the central sexual boundary in a story defined by her affairs, the people around her, and Tom’s absence.
